The person
behind Veraura.

I'm Yuri Barreira, an independent creator based in Brazil. Veraura is the name I use for my creative work, not a separate company or a production team.

I develop original stories through writing, character and scene design, generative-AI production and editing. I'm interested in the point where a strong dramatic idea meets a carefully made image, a believable performance and the right sound.

My background in platform engineering also shapes how I work: I value repeatable processes, clear versions and careful review. Technology is part of the method. The story and the viewer remain the reason for it.

I keep exploring what new tools make possible, while paying attention to the details that make the result feel coherent and human.

How I work

    I build the dramatic premise, characters and choices that move the story.

    I shape framing, performance and the intention of each scene.

    I use generative tools to create image and performance material under my creative direction.

    I select and edit material, reviewing continuity, sound and the viewing experience.

Before I Do uses generative AI in its audiovisual production. I lead the writing, visual direction, selection and editing. The tools are part of the process; creative responsibility stays with me.
